The Beginning
I have a feeling it was a century ago but so little time has passed since then, it’s like an eternity. I started working out on the January 13, 2005 and I still remember how a few days before that, with a friend my living in the same apartment building as me, we went together to the local gym in our neighborhood just to see it what looks like… The main reason behind me starting to workout as hard as I could is not if I was bored nor been overweight, but the depression I was going through. The main reason behind me starting to lift weights is that I had to overcome the brake up with my ex-girlfriend (which I dare to say I loved truly). Out of the blue I got my hands on a book written by Jack London. The book is about how hard work can turn a person into an animal and make them forget everything and focus on their main goal/task… It was just about right timing me reading that book and I decided to give it a try … Now looking back, I realize that it is all worth it reading such books.
Honestly, bodybuilding has given me almost everything… It gave me lots of true friends, very positive and pleasant emotions, huge dose of self-esteem and self-believe, strong will and discipline that helps me in all aspects of everyday’s life. But for sure, bodybuilding takes it all back. I mostly risked my health for the sole purpose to be number one and one step ahead of my competitors. You do not put that into account when you do it. But after all, no matter how trivial it may sound – health is most important of all. Everything else will somehow be worked out.
There are a lot of interesting stories from my bodybuilding career. In terms of experience I can be helpful to many people as long as they want advice on how to do it and how not to do it. As to make things better and to live in harmony with themselves to a full and healthy life.
Always try to be happy and stay healthy!
